Hamilton ETFs is one of Canada’s fastest growing exchange traded fund (“ETF”) providers. Based in Toronto’s financial district and with ~$14 billion in ETF assets under management, we are seeking a motivated individual to join our entrepreneurial team of experienced and talented professionals.

Here’s what you will do as Senior Marketing Manager:
As a senior member of the marketing team, and reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing while providing guidance and direction across marketing operations. This role will be responsible for driving day-to-day marketing operations, coordinating execution across channels, managing workflows and timelines, and working closely with external partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong marketing experience, exceptional organizational and project management skills, and the ability to operate as a “jack of all trades” within a growing ETF provider. This role will plays a key part in ensuring Hamilton ETFs’ marketing strategy is executed with efficiency, quality, and consistency.

Responsibilities of the Senior Marketing Manager::
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing to support the development, execution, and ongoing refinement of the firm’s marketing strategy;
  • Act as a key point of contact with external partners, coordinating deliverables, timelines, and execution across campaigns and channels;
  • Support and coordinate marketing execution across both investment advisor and self-directed (DIY) investor channels, ensuring appropriate audience targeting, channel mix, and execution;
  • Manage the marketing calendar and ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives across digital, web, email, and other channels;
  • Lead campaign execution and operational delivery, ensuring initiatives are set up properly, launched on time, and tracked effectively;
  • Personally support hands-on execution across key marketing activities (including email marketing and digital campaigns), while delegating execution tasks where appropriate;
  • Oversee marketing execution workflows, ensuring marketing materials and communications are accurate, aligned with brand standards, and delivered on time;
  • Work closely with other internal teams including compliance, sales, and product to ensure alignment and operational efficiency;
  • Support the coordination of ETF product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement initiatives;
  • Own day-to-day brand governance, ensuring internal execution aligns with brand guidelines and templates across channels and materials;
  • Support performance monitoring and reporting in collaboration with external partners, including reviewing dashboards, KPIs, and campaign results, and recommending optimizations;
  • Ensure marketing deliverables are properly submitted through internal compliance workflows, with high standards for accuracy, version control, and quality control;
  • Support the development and maintenance of marketing materials, presentations, templates, and internal marketing processes;
  • Assist other marketing team members to support the sales team by ensuring materials, collateral, and communications remain current, accessible, and well organized;
  • Special projects as assigned for the overall benefit of Hamilton ETFs.
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:
  • Bachelor’s degree and an understanding of Canadian financial markets
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign execution, performance marketing, integrated marketing, or marketing project management (financial services experience preferred);
  • Ability to think creatively and challenge conventional approaches, bringing fresh ideas and practical solutions that differentiate Hamilton ETFs in a competitive market.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and derive actionable insights;
  • Be current with evolving marketing technologies, tools, and best practices, and apply them thoughtfully to improve marketing operations and execution.
  • Experience in ETFs, asset management, or capital markets, supporting marketing initiatives for both investment advisor and self-directed (DIY) investor audiences
  • An understanding of how channel selection, execution, and compliance considerations differ by audience;
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience executing email marketing campaigns and working with email marketing tools;
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting or executing digital marketing campaigns;
  • Comfort working with dashboards, KPIs, and marketing performance reporting;
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to run multiple deliverables in parallel and adapt to frequently changing priorities;
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with CRM software, CMS platforms, and digital advertising platforms;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and stakeholders;
  • Highly detail-oriented, with a strong focus on execution quality, accuracy, and follow-through;
  • Self-motivated and directed;
  • A team-oriented mindset, with an interest and aptitude to add value outside of core responsibilities;
  • Design skills (Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar) would be a strong asset.
