We’re seeking a highly organized, results-driven Product Development Coordinator with a strong understanding of project planning coordination. This position ensures projects stay on track by aligning cross-functional teams, timelines, and product goals. The coordinator will collaborate with technical, design, supply chain, marketing, and quality assurance departments to help bring to market innovative, reliable, and competitive large/small home appliances.
You’ll be responsible for the full support of product development lifecycle and communication with all internal and external stakeholders (vendors and suppliers) involved in all steps of the development cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning Coordination:
- Track and manage development milestones using project management tools such as Monday.com, Gantt charts, MS Project Planner.
- Schedule and facilitate cross-functional meetings, maintaining clear communication between internal stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and version control for product specifications, registration, lab testing results, and regulatory certifications (e.g., UL, ENERGY STAR).
- Participate in product sample evaluations and provide input on usability, servicing, and performance standards.
- Support sourcing and procurement by coordinating samples, component specifications, and vendor documentation.
- Track lead times for components and pre-production sample schedules.
- Collaborate on the development of product packaging, instruction manuals, and product labeling.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure product training materials and launch assets are prepared and aligned with product rollout timelines.
- Continuous improvement and quality insurance for the entire lifecycle of the product.
What we are looking for:
- College Diploma Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a product development, R&D, or manufacturing environment; experience in appliances or consumer durables is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Gantt charts, MS Project Planner).
- Ability to coordinate project from start to finish
- Resourceful and team/collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Nice to have
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and testing protocols (UL, ENERGY STAR, etc.).
